Every year the West Salem Yearbook staff dedicates the Neshonoc Yearbook to one deserving member of the community. This tradition has been going on since 1947,  but there is one major change this year.

The dedication ceremony, usually held in the evening, will take place during the school day on May 18th. The yearbook staff decided to reimagine the dedication ceremony in order to include more of the student body in the celebration of the years memories and particularly this year’s dedicatee.

True to tradition, the nominee is a member of the community or staff. The nominee is a person who has made a positive impact on West Salem High School. At the Neshonoc Yearbook dedication, the nominee is revealed.

In addition to introducing the dedicatee, the yearbook staff acknowledges past dedicatees and past editors that are able to attend.

After the ceremony, yearbooks will be distributed to students who purchased books this year.
