Q: What were your first impressions? How was your first Day?

A: Everyone was very nice, and it was overall a good day.

Q: Can you tell me about your college education/teaching journey?

A: [I] worked at a lot of different schools, Emerson, Logan, Viking Elementary, and State Road Elementary.[I] Worked with kids with disabilities and worked physical education-related positions.[I] Work in all three buildings in the district. In the elementary school, [I] work with disabled kids, in the middle school, student teacher to Mrs. Olson, and in the high school, I teach Shaping and Toning. [I] Also coached at Central for 5 years.

Q: Where are you from? How different is Wisconsin/West Salem from where you were working before?

A: [I am] From La Crosse. The school is smaller than the others and has a better variety of classes.

Q: What’s your teaching style/philosophy in the teaching position you chose?

A: Philosophy: Provide an enjoyable and healthy experience.

Q: What do you do outside of school?

A:[I] Watch sports, hang out with family, play adult kickball, play adult softball, watch movies.
